Vacancy Announcement - Rapporteur / Report Writer – Women with Disabilities (WWDs) Event

Aawaz II is organising a summit of WWDs from KP, Punjab and Sindh to acknowledge their work and leadership in securing their inclusion and rights in collaboration with government.

The Aawaz II Summit of Women with Disabilities will be held in Islamabad on 29-30th June 2026. The summit will host over 100 participants including WWDs leaders from across Pakistan.

The summit aims to bring together women with disabilities, government representatives, civil society organizations, development partners, disability rights advocates, and other relevant stakeholders to discuss challenges, opportunities, and policy recommendations for advancing the rights, inclusion, and empowerment of women with disabilities.

The event will provide a platform for participants to share experiences, identify barriers, highlight good practices, and develop actionable recommendations to strengthen disability-inclusive policies, services, and advocacy initiatives. The outcomes of the event will contribute to ongoing engagement with government institutions and the Women with Disabilities Network to ensure sustained advocacy and action beyond the event.

To ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation of discussions, recommendations, commitments, and key outcomes, a qualified Rapporteur/Report Writer will be engaged.

 

Position Term of Reference (ToRs):

Assignment Timeline, Payment Schedule, and Application Requirements (CV and Cover Letter)

Payment will be made upon the satisfactory completion and approval of all assigned deliverables, including the submission of the final event report.

The selected candidate will be entitled to an honorarium of up to £80 per day for a maximum engagement period of four (4) days. The total payment will be processed upon successful completion of the assignment, submission of the final report, and approval by the supervisor.

Payments will be made in accordance with the organization's standard payment procedures and terms, with disbursement expected within 30 days of invoice submission and final approval.

Interested candidates are requested to submit their CV and a cover letter highlighting their experience in report writing, documentation, and rapporteur assignments to the Human Resources Department of Peace & Justice Network at hr@pjn.org.pk, with a copy to Mr. Adnan Mushtaq at adnan.m@pjn.org.pk, no later than 23 June 2026.
