PJN Gender Equality Action Plan – Commitment Statement

At Peace & Justice Network (PJN) Pakistan, we believe that true justice, peace, and sustainable development are only possible when gender equality is at the heart of everything we do. We recognize that women, girls, and gender-diverse individuals continue to face systemic barriers to accessing their rights, resources, and representation. As a national network committed to rights-based, inclusive development, PJN affirms its unwavering commitment to advancing gender equality across our organizational structure, programming, and partnerships.

Through this Gender Equality Action Plan (July 2023 – June 2026), PJN pledges to:

• Institutionalize gender equity within our leadership, staff policies, and operational practices.

• Empower women and marginalized genders as agents of change in justice, climate, digital safety, and civic spaces.

• Prevent and respond to all forms of gender-based violence, including technology-facilitated abuse.

• Ensure meaningful participation and representation of women, persons with disabilities, transgender individuals, and minority groups in all decision-making processes.

• Invest in knowledge, tools, and partnerships that mainstream gender in all our actions and measure real impact on the ground.

This is not a one-time commitment—it is a transformative process rooted in accountability, intersectionality, and justice. We will lead by example, advocate with integrity, and stand with all communities working toward a more equal, inclusive Pakistan.

Together, we strive for a future where no one is left behind because of their gender.
