Inter-Provincial Exchange Visit to Sindh under Civic Society Strengthening Program (CSSP)

#PJNSindh: Peace & Justice Network Pakistan participated in the Inter-Provincial Exchange Visit to Sindh, hosted by the Sindh Social Welfare Department, along with the Charities Commissions of Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, and Balochistan under the Civic Society Strengthening Program (#CSSP), through which #PJNPakistan is partnering with #GIZ and #EU.

#PJNPakistan highlighted the importance of close collaboration between the government and civil society organizations, emphasizing their role as strategic partners in addressing community needs. The CEO PJN underscored that the meaningful engagement, mutual trust, and coordinated efforts are essential to ensure inclusive development, effective service delivery, and responsive policymaking that reflects grassroots realities.

The core objective of the Support to Civil Society in Pakistan (SCSP) initiative is to enhance the effectiveness of civil society engagement in policy dialogue and advocacy with the government on sectoral issues, as well as on the overall enabling environment. The initiative aims to strengthen the institutional, organizational, and technical capacities of CSOs in Pakistan, enabling evidence-based policy dialogue, strategic communication, and improved visibility, while also promoting a more enabling environment for civil society in Pakistan.
