Legal identity is a fundamental right that unlocks access to all other rights.
On International Identity Day, #PJN and its network of civil society organizations across Pakistan reaffirm their commitment to ensuring that every person is recognized, protected, and empowered through legal identity.
We urge the Government of Pakistan to guarantee legal identity for all—especially transgender persons, stateless individuals residing in the country, and other vulnerable and excluded communities.
