Summer Internship Program 2017

The Peace & Justice Network (PJN) is pleased to announce the Summer Internship Program. PJN is a national Civil Society Rule of Law network consist of 44 organizations registered under Section 42 as a not for profit institution with Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), working across Pakistan (in all provinces and territories, including GB and AJK) to help build institutions which can strengthen democracy, deliver quick and inexpensive justice, and manage conflict in a way that protects the fundamental rights of citizens.

Through the program, students will be able to apply for full-time summer internships within one of the many divisions of the PJN Network.  Internships are available for both undergraduate and graduate students. These positions could be paid or unpaid depending upon the applicant expertise.   

The Program and Operations Interns are responsible for the development, coordination, implementation, and occasionally evaluation of programs and operations activities based on the needs of PJN’s ongoing programs, staff, and volunteer. The Intern works in coordination with the relevant Manager and provides support to Generation Hope staff. Intern will also have the opportunity to design and implement a project of his/her choosing—this could range from creating new resources for achieving PJN’s objective, etc. Interns will work a flexible full or part time schedule partially in the office and partially in field. Start and end dates are flexible; ideal candidates will be available June-August.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word
  • Independent, highly organized and detail-oriented

As Intern, selected individuals cannot become regular employee other than through formal evaluation and widely competitive process. Any expense incur by Intern due to the field work while performing their duties will be reimburse as per actual expenses.
